Self Catering Accommodation FAQ

Are these holiday lets suitable for families?
Yes, we welcome families at our holiday cottages. We have a children’s play area which is a favourite among many of our younger guests. We also provide travel cots, highchairs and stair gates for use within our properties.

Are longer-term lets available?
Yes. Please just ask and we can discuss your needs accordingly.

Are towels and linen provided?
All of our holiday cottages come with bed linen provided free of charge. Towels can be hired at an extra charge of £3 per person.

Do you have parking on site?
Yes, there is parking for up to 10 cars on site next to the cottages. If you are bringing more than one car please let us know in advance.

I am disabled. Are your properties suitable for me?
We do everything we can to accommodate everyone. Please read our access statement for further details.

Do you have any laundry facilities we can use?
There is a communal laundry room which guests are welcome to use. It includes a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing equipment. Windrush Cottage has its own washing machine.

Do you accept pets?
Unfortunately we are unable to accept pets in our holiday cottages.

What time can I check in on arrival and what time do I have to vacate the property by on my departure?
Cottages are available from 3pm on the day of arrival and we ask that guests vacate by 10am on the day of departure. We can be flexible so please let us know if you have different requirements.

Do you have a minimum number of nights we have to book?
We rent out these properties for week-long lets from a Friday, Saturday or Monday. And short breaks of three nights from a Friday or four nights from a Monday. Longer term lets are also available.

Do we have to pay for electricity in the cottages?
Electricity is charged by meter reading for each cottage at the end of your stay. Except Hazleford and Isbourne which have £1 coin-operated meters.

What method of payment do you accept?
Payment can be made by cheque, direct BACS transfer or credit card via paypal.

Are there any takeaways and supermarkets nearby?
Nearby in Charlton Kings (2 miles) there is a Fish and Chip shop. There is also a Chinese and Indian take-away - both of which will deliver.

There is a Sainsburys and Tesco supermarket within 5 miles and a Co-op store 2 miles away. All of the internet supermarket delivery vans will deliver to Seven Springs.

Do I need a car?
A bus service runs every hour to Cirencester and Cheltenham. The nearest local shop is 1 mile away at the bottom of a steep hill. To get the most out of your holiday use of a car is recommended.

What’s your smoking policy?
Smoking is not permitted inside the cottages.
