Booking Info
If you would like to make a reservation a £50 deposit is required with the balance paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. If you are booking within 8 weeks of arrival payment in full is required.
We are unable to hold provisional bookings. A booking is not confirmed until a deposit is received. If the balance is not received within 8 weeks of arrival, a reminder will be sent. If payment is still not received, the cottage will be re-marketed and the deposit forfeited.
Payment
Payment can be made by cheque (payable to Seven Springs Cottages) or by credit card. Payments can also be made via internet banking by BACS transfer.
Security Deposit
A security deposit may be charged at the owner’s discretion. This security deposit will be refunded on departure or within 7 days of departure provided there is no damage other than reasonable wear and tear.
Cleaning
The cottages are cleaned prior to your arrival and the beds are all made up. Please leave the cottage in a tidy manner. If the cottage is left in a very untidy or soiled condition an additional cleaning charge will be made.
Children’s Safety
We do provide stair-gates and fit these. Guests are asked to check that these are secure and that they are happy with these on arrival. Seven Springs Cottages cannot be held liable if the safety gates are damaged or become loose during the guests' stay unless the owner is notified of a problem with a stair-gate.
Children are very welcome at Seven Springs Cottages and there is a play area with swings, slide and wendy house as well as plenty of space for them to play in. An adult should supervise children at all times and Seven Springs Cottages cannot be held liable for any accidents on site.
Pets
As the grounds are shared by all of the guests we cannot accept pets.
Consideration of Other Guests
We request that guests do not cause noise disturbance to others after 10pm at night.
Number of Guests
Cottages accommodate 2, 4 or 6 persons. If you wish to accommodate more guests this must be by prior agreement.
Damage/Breakages
The guest is responsible for the actual costs of any breakage or damage in or to the property - along with any additional costs that may result - which are caused by any members of the guest party, and the Owner can require payment to cover any such costs.
Guest's Personal Possessions and Vehicle
The guest's personal possessions are not covered by Seven Springs Cottages' insurance. Guest's vehicles are parked at the vehicle owner's risk.
Cancellation
If you cancel your reservation 1 month or more before your holiday your deposit will be refunded if the property can be re-let less the cost of re-letting. If you cancel less than 1 month before your holiday the deposit is forfeited and the full cost of rental will be charged if the property is not re-let. We advise that you take out your own holiday insurance to protect yourself should you have to cancel your holiday.
Key Collection
On receipt of your balancing payment we will send you details of key collection. Cottages are ready by 3pm on the day of arrival and we request that you leave your cottage by 10am on the day of departure. If these times are problematic please let us know and we can often be flexible.
Repossesion of Property
The Owner is entitled at his/her sole and absolute discretion to refuse to hand over to the guest, or to repossess, the property if the Owner reasonably believes the guest or any member of the guest’s party is behaving unlawfully, or that any damage is likely to be caused, has been caused or is being caused by the guest’s behaviour. If the Owner has to repossess, this will be treated as a cancellation by the guest. In these situations no refund of any monies the guest has paid in respect of the booking will be made and the Owner will have no liability to the guest as a result of this situation arising (including for example any costs or expenses incurred due to not being able to occupy the property, such as the cost of securing an alternative property/ accommodation or the payment of any compensation). The Owner will not be obliged to find any alternative accommodation.
Access to Property
With prior permission from the guest the owner and any representative of the Owner (including workmen) is allowed access to the property at any reasonable time during occupation of the property (except in cases of emergency or where a problem needs remedying quickly and the guest cannot be contacted in time - in these situations the Owner is entitled to enter the property at any time without giving prior notice).
